Ventimiglia

Every friday during the summer, there's this big market in the italian town of Ventimiglia. On our last day in France we decided to travel the short one and a half hour trip to Ventimiglia by train and go check it out (after being told we just had to by good friends). Sadly I didn't get too see much of the city, but the market was a lot of fun, and there were hidden treasures all around, in the form of pastas and cashmere scarves for the most part. After having spent ages checking out/ rummaging and splurging our way through all the stalls we sat down at a tiny restaurant right on the bustling street and ordered us some lunch before running to the train station (slightly stressfully buying some real italian gelato on the way) back to Cannes.

The only picture I took of the market. I am a bad tourist.

Amazingly authentic italian Bufala Caprese Salad!
