YES! Thank god I waited and didn't go for either of the two military coats I was contemplating, because Zara just added a new coat to their website, and it is perfect! Everything I want out of a military coat. Now all I have to do is get my hands on it.. [photos]

Youthful Summer

Summer is beautiful when it hits Norway. My bestie, her good friend and I ran off to my bestie's summer house after only a day in Oslo after arriving from Switzerland, we decided it was too hot to stay in the city.

The day after we arrived, we decided to go crab fishing: we wanted to give my bestie's friend the authentic norwegian summer child experience. I snapped some photos while they were at it, before we headed home and had another night of graduation celebration (you only graduate high school once you know).

The Case of the Military Coats

I have always loved military coats. Which is why I am overjoyed that they are so happening at the moment: so many types and options to choose from!

I bought one from Zara last fall, but I've been looking at some of this year's options, and am in love with this one from Hunkydory. The only thing Is that I wish the buttons where gold and not silver, but hey, I think I can work with that! (Serious Isabel Marant vibes btw)

This second one beautiful as well, and is from Zara. I love that there are so many buttons ant the fact that they extend to the full length of the coat.. however I feel it's a little short, and am unsure about slight peplum thing going on in the back. Hm...
